Stories of perseverance, family journeys, and heritage reflected through handmade quilts created by Japanese American women from the High Plains.

Quilts of Valor Presentation
Presented by Peggy Maunier
Learn how Quilts of Valor honors veterans and active-duty military members through handmade quilts recognizing their service and sacrifice.
Special Exhibits
Guests can also explore special exhibits from the museum collection, including:
- A camel hair quilt
- A driftwood spinning wheel
- A 42-star American flag from the 1800s
- Military uniforms and Quilts of Valor
- Japanese American quilts on loan from the International Quilt Museum at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln
This special exhibit will remain on display through July 19.
