The Gering Civic Center is Western Nebraska’s premier multi-function conference, meeting and event venue offering 25,500 square feet of first-class facilities for functions of all types. Located in downtown Gering, the Gering Civic Center is exceedingly accessible to adjacent headquarters hotel facilities, dining and night life, shopping and recreational opportunities in compliment to our meeting venue. Gering Civic Center offers eight individual conference-meeting rooms, Grand Ballroom, full-service on-site catering and 300 complimentary parking spaces to meet the requirements of incoming conventions, meetings and special events of all sizes. The Gering Civic Center does not charge service or gratuity fees on meals and functions, representing substantial cost savings for associations and groups.

Assistance with meeting/event planning at the Gering Civic Center and other “unique” hospitality venues throughout Gering to fit the individual needs and requirements of every group.
The Gering Visitors Bureau offers complimentary assistance with signing in attendees, preparing and distributing name badges and convention packets, and providing information about attractions, events, restaurants and nightlife activities.
Assistance in planning attraction tours, spouse programs and social events. The Gering Visitors Bureau will also put planners in contact with suppliers and support services necessary to enhance your event.
Artwork and logos for promotional materials, direct mail campaigns, video presentations, and welcome letters from the Mayor of Gering and other community leaders can be provided to help increase attendance at the event.
Visitors guides, maps, attraction brochures, event calendars and convention coupons can be provided to help attendees see what they can see and do during their stay in Gering.
News release can be written and distributed to area media, or Gering Visitors Bureau can hold a press conference during your event to increase exposure. Coordination of local “marquee welcome” program and special events, including parades, are services provided by the Gering Visitors Bureau.
